Teach Ontario

.
LearnON is the Knowledge Ontario project focused on ensuring that digital learning tutorials are readily available online, 24/7 to help Ontarians make the most of their digital literacy skills.

LearnON helps internet users learn and apply appropriate research and technology skills when using the information resources provided by Resource Ontario. These teaching modules will be available to all Ontarians, through free, licensed access, via the Knowledge Ontario website. Try the first tutorial on how to search online databases available on this page.

Key directions for LearnON were identified in June 2008 :

  • to ensure that technology tutorials are readily available online, 24 X 7...
  • to ensure that these are capable of responding effectively to the differing learning needs and learning styles of users in Ontario.
  • to leverage the value of existing resources, creating a pool of the best of learning tutorials available.
  • to create a portal access point of shared teaching tools and tutorial resources that can be re-used and adapted, province-wide.
