Who are these resources for?

A:

E-resources are for everyone in Ontario looking for academic or general interest information on everything from A-Z! See the subject links for a list of the topics.

 Does this affect my library's resources page?

A:

No. The eResources Portal is an access point for those libraries who do not have a remote access page for their resources, or for those people who choose to use this page instead of their library's.

 Do I need a password?

A:

You should not be asked for a password if you are accessing the resources in the province of Ontario, but if you are use the contact us button below to let us know where you are and what resources you were trying to access and we will get back to you. For a password please contact your local public library.

 Can I search more than one resource at a time?

A:

 Yes. Use the PowerSearch icon to search all the Gale databases at once.

Can I share these resources with my friends/colleagues?

A:

Yes. You can share this resource with all your friends and colleges in Ontario. For friends and colleges in other areas have them access these resources via their public, school, college or university library.

Yes. Each database has print and download features. Use the help buttons in each resources for more information or use the contact us button below for help.

Tell me about the French language portal:

A:

You will find access to all the KO services and resources in French at ressources.knowledgeontario.ca.

Icons at the name of the e-resource indicates whether French content is available. The three icons are:

A mix of content in both languages

A machine translation of this resource is available

Promotional buttons for your webpages are also available in French.
