Who uses these databases?
Everyone from everywhere, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All that is necessary to access the databases is an internet connection and a library card from anyone of our partner organizations – public, school, college, university and government libraries.
Licenses for these databases have been purchased through Knowledge Ontario for all of these institutions, and provide remote access from home, work, school or wherever an internet connection can be made.
From the internet, log on to whatever library you are a member of, choose online resources from the library menu, and this virtual library of authenticated information is available to you, wherever you are, whenever you need it. Click to read what people are saying about Resource Ontario.
Funding partner: Ontario
This project is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the partner libraries of Ontario. The partner libraries provide the staff and expertise to load, maintain and make publicly accessible these resources on their library websites.
The Southern Ontario Library Service and Ontario Library Service – North partnered with us to help fund the French-language Eureka.cc database.
